Generating Test Data

There is often a need to generate anonymous data for non-production testing purposes.  There is a website that lets you create names, addresses, numeric, text and credit card data. The URL is http://generatedata.com

The free site is limited to 100 rows.  By making a donation an account can be created to generate up to 5,000 rows.  Finally, the application can be downloaded and generate up to 100,000 rows.  Please note the application uses MySQL as a database, not SQL Server.

The site even scripts out table DDL and INSERT statements for SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, SQLLite and Postgres
